Tip 1: turn off the screen
You know one of the most effective ways to conserve battery life is to reduce the display brightness of the screen? I could not find refill instructions for the specific model you have but the site in the link below has info about all different types of laser cartridges and perhaps one is similar to yours. If so it may be filled the same way. It also seems that some toner cartridges don’t work with refills unless they are reset with a re-setter. I’m inkjet owner so my refilling knowledge is more in the inkjet area so the link is about the best I can do.
